Came here for an emergency visit during our trip to Takayama, as our daughter’s braces suddenly went a bit off and her gum was hurting. The team (nurse and dentists) was very accommodating despite having to make an extra effort at communicating in English (we obviously dont speak Japanese) and squeezing us into the endless stream of their regular customers walking in. We tried visiting another dentist before coming to this one, and the previous dentist flatly refused to deal with us because of language barrier. The orthodontist took good care of our daughter and fixed the issue immediately. The bill that came afterwards was surprisingly very affordable too. We are glad and grateful for the services catered by whole team at Nishi.
Excellent clinic with very nice personnel! I had to get replacement for a fallen out filling, went after 5pm, didn’t need to wait at all to get treated, and the doctor even spoke English.
普段遠方の病院まで矯正で通っていますが、装置のトラブルがあり、こちらの若先生が矯正歯科の技術もお持ちだとうかがって応急処置で診ていただきました。雰囲気の柔らかい優しい先生ですが、テキパキと的確な対応をしていただき、とっても助かりました！東京の医院で長く研鑽を重ねられ、現在も二拠点で診察されているそうです。次からは矯正以外でもお世話になりたいと思います。柔軟なご対応ありがとうございました！

We are from Singapore and visited Takayama in Dec 2025 when our daughter developed a very painful gum infection.It was a panic to look for an English speaking dental clinic when we were only there for 2 days. Nishi Dental Clinic was already full but they were very kind to see our daughter on such short notice. The dentist spoke some English and was very patient in explaining the problem and to provide treatment immediately. The nurses were also very kind to us. My daughter was so happy to get immediate relieve from her tooth and gum ache. She felt very comfortable with the entire treatment process. We were able to continue the rest of our trip without any problem.Thank you so much to the whole professional team!
