I was very happy to come across this lovely woodcut print shop as I was walking to Kinkakuji temple. Beautiful artworks of which I purchased a couple at reasonable prices. Highly recommend a visit.
沢山の素敵な版画が鑑賞でき、比較的手頃な価格で手に入ります。京都の思い出に一つ購入しました。店員さんも親切です。

The woodblock prints are absolutely stunning! Woodblock is a dying art and this gallery does an amazing job at explaining how woodblock is done and displays some stunning works to marvel at. It's a small spot so you don't need more than 30 min here but it's really worth taking a look!

周辺のオススメ
This gallery displays some impressive woodblock prints depicting Japanese themes, mainly from the Kyoto area.We discovered it by chance while walking from one temple to another and then we bought a small print.We planned to return another day because we wanted to take some more prints home as souvenirs. Given the timing of the New Year holiday, I'm not sure if it will be possible, but I'll try to arrange it, even if it's just online.I think they're excellent and have a wonderful charm.
