This gem of a shop has an exquisite range of lacquerware, tea utensils, porcelain and more. The proprietors are knowledgeable and create a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy and enquire about their wonderful collection.
非常美丽的店。
An amazingly curated small shop owned and run by an elderly couple. I was a little intimidated at first walking in, but the owners were super friendly and also hands off, so I could take my time to browse. They have amazing taste, with beautiful and well maintained antiques at decent prices. I walked away with a beautiful lacquer tea container (apparently from early Showa era!), and a standing crane tea cup from 30-40 years ago. The owner spoke great English and was happy to introduce the products and answer any questions I had. They packaged everything very nicely for transport home and even wrote a little card with the name of the artist for me. Highly recommend to anyone looking for one of a kind pieces.
A nice teaware shop with a helpful owner
分かりにくい外観ではありますが、いいものばかりのお店です。
