Fukuoka International Church is a great place to find a tight knit community. The congregation is mostly comprised of Japanese/Fukuoka natives (naturally, as it's in Fukuoka, Japan), but the ratio of English speakers is actually quite high. Korean and Chinese speakers also attend.The services are based on a traditional Japanese Baptist style, and the music isn't exactly contemporary, but the community itself is vibrant and welcoming.Pros:- Located in the heart of Daimyo; heading out to town with friends after the service is really easy, cuz you're already IN town!- Wide-range demographics (multiple nationalities, races, and people of all ages).- Easily feel at home.Cons:- Small - again, some people see this as a plus, while others enjoy mega churches.- Traditional church music

本來要去朋友介紹的一家華人教會，但突然改變行程，應該是聖靈感動，剛進教會的時候從一樓走到四樓都沒有人，以為聚會取消了，有點傷心，走回一樓時，遇到兩位教友，展開我們今天一個美好的主日聚會，教會因為沒有牧師，所以我們照著他們準備的主題，做一些分享，這種互動式的聚會比較令人開心，因為每個人可根據自己的需要提出代禱事項，並且在彼此的分享中，可以了解對方的一些狀況，有一種自我介紹的內涵在裡面，所以雖然我們四個人初見面，但是卻一見如故，全程英文交談，黑人教友華語說得不錯，他說他的國語比日本話說得還好，我也覺得他的國語講得蠻好的，他們兩人讓我們感覺這是個有『愛』的教會，他們兩人都是天父爸爸所指派『忠心又良善』的僕人，雖然不是牧師，但是願意站出來，承擔教會的工作，責無旁代在教會做工，讓教會沒有被放棄，只要是我們日本話完全不通，否則真想過來加入他們，與他們一起奮戰！希望未來還有機會跟他們碰面，一起同工。加油！你們可以的！因為主耶穌一直與你們同在！
