知られたくない素敵な空間。
I've been going to CSA for years now, but after lunch today I finally thought I should write a review. I had a set menu lunch (1,100 yen), which included a side vegetable salad, cream of veggie soup, a coconut curry with rice and a seemingly bottomless cup of good coffee after. It was one of those rare meals where you first and foremost enjoy the taste, but also have the satisfaction that it was good for you. Of course, that's no accident on their part--they make a conscious effort to make sure you go away sated both in terms of quality and quantity (and I'm 90k!). My only regret was that I was concerned that Keiko thought I was keeping Keith from his work in the kitchen by talking with him about the latest in Otaru for far too long! As a long-time resident in Otaru, it was nice to have a chat in English!On the other side of CSA, they sell organic (primarily) veggies they grow themselves, which are very competitively priced for organic and having gotten to know the Millikens, I know they're doing things right, beyond the bare minimum to get listed as organic...they're really looking out for the environment and not polluting with fertilizers, etc. Today I consciously refrained from going into the shop side because they also sell amazing baked goods (makes me long for home) there and I didn't want to backslide after my healthy lunch!It's a given I'll be back before long and hope they don't become too popular as I'd hate to wait for their great food and having a chat. Today all the tables were taken, but people were obviously on their lunch break, so didn't/couldn't stay and linger, like I did.

Great food!! Very kind local owners and staff. They also sell locally grown veggies. Wonderful place for lunch, dinner, and to pick up daily supplies for home cooking. Staff can speak Japanese, English and French.
自家栽培のオーガニック野菜、手作りのケーキを販売しレストランが併設してます。とてもこじんまりしたお店で内装は手作りのようですが落ち着きます。経営のご夫婦共に気取らなく、感じが良く、レストランは4卓程です。何より料理はとっても美味しく、身体に優しさを感じます。個人的には隠れ家として、公表をしたくないのですが、‥
夏になると美味しそうな野菜が並んでいて目を引きますバラ売りなのは良いのですがそのほとんどが単価が書かれておらず、手を出しづらいですコミニュケーションを取ってから時価とか言われたら怖すぎるので、値札がはっきりしているものだけ購入させてもらっていますとても美味しい野菜でした。
赤井川の農産物やフェアトレード、オーガニック商品が置いています。おからのドーナツがとても美味しかった。フランスのゲランド産のお塩も売っていて、こんな所で買えるのかと驚きました。野菜など計り売りの物も多く、フードロス無しで合理的。数年前に妙見市場から移転し、ランチやカフェも併設されました。昭和香る店内は 親戚の家に来た様な雰囲気で、食事も家庭料理でホッとひと息付けます。
クリスマスのあとでも、カレーもドーナツも素晴らしくおいしいし、無農薬のゆずもお安かったです！またきたいです！

周辺のオススメ
感じの良いお店です。赤井川の産直野菜と、オーナー手造り、おはぎとケーキ等、カフェもありそうです。普段甘い物食べないので、おはぎを2個買いました。
