中津川からのバス前に立ち寄れる、便利な立地の食堂です。
カツ丼が日本で二番目に美味しかった、絶品の定食を提供しています。
小さな店舗ながら、温かい雰囲気と美味しい料理に満足できる場所です。
This was the only place open before we took the bus from Nakatsugawa to Magome at 09:10 on a Tuesday. I thought the grease on the walls and the black of the pans were indicators that the place had to be good.I had the katsudon (deep fried pork cutlet over rice with egg on top) and it was the second best I had in Japan (Best was in Ishigaki, Okinawa). The pork could have been tenderer. It came with miso soup and pickles. My wife had Chahan (fried rice) and she loved it too, almost licked the plate. It came with some kind of soup. We both agreed all dishes were delicious and definitely worth a stop for a hearty breakfast before the ~3 hours trek between Magome and Tsumago.The owner is friendly too, but the place is quite small.I'd go again in a heartbeat.
