This office stays open late enough for me to hurry from work and arrive before closing time. Rather than traveling all the way to Ueno or Tokyo. I arrived at the post office at 5:52 it closes at 6pm. My Japanese isn't so good but they knew I wanted to ship something internationally and I didn't want the fastest shipping speed. One lady was yelling in Japanese, "Write! Write!" Because they wanted me to leave at six. They were just trying to force me to shipping using the most expensive way but I knew it shouldn't cost 4,000 yen to send something that is barely over 1kg. Finally they told me that if I don't use insurance and tracking it will be cheaper but I don't have to use the slowest shipping speed. There were other people in the post office too but none of the staff yelled at them.
