A bit out of the way but worth the detour!!Shinshu salmon marinated with the herbs was fantastic, the pasta itself was delicious (took the wagyu bolognese), the Cacio & pepe pasta was also excellent. The tartiflette had a very good amount of reblochon cheese even by French standard. Good selection of wines. The layout of the restaurant/cafe is very cosy. Overall very decent price taking into consideration the post Covid inflation. Want to come back!
Homely. Warm. Clean. Private. Just can’t believe how cheap our room was that I shared with a mate. Our futon style beds were perfect. Morning breakfast was lovely with choice of cereals, toasts, eggs, soups etc. The host speaks Japanese, English and French. The common room is very cozy with a nice fireplace. The house is also located at walking distance of chairlifts and bars/restaurants.Will be back for sure!

absolutely amazing stay. my boyfriend and i stayed for 4 days and it was so pleasant. breakfast in the morning served by the sweetest staff and it was delicious. honourable mention to the cappuccino and hot chocolates they made, SO GOOD. room was tidy and surprisingly warm. showers were spotless, and toilet seats are heated. what more could you ask for? short cut through the back if you want to avoid the hike up the hill. sometimes snow monkeys won’t let u go through the short cut, but after all the ramen you eat, the walk won’t kill you. snow monkeys are chill - added example photo (not AI). jokes aside - short 5 min walk to the happo 1 gondola. close to main strip with food, ski gear hire stores and probably the most picturesque, cabin vibes place you could stay.10/10 stay, would recommend to anyone and will definitely stay again.
