亀島園地の特徴
残念ながらキャンプは禁止ですが、バーベキューには最適な場所です。
芝生広場と海に降りれる階段があり、夏場は地元の憩いの場です。
美しい柱状節理の島を見渡せる絶好のロケーションです。
キャンプ禁止の看板有り。

狭くて急な道を通っていきます。すれ違いは不可なので慎重に走る必要があります。夏だけかも知れませんが、駐車料をとられました。キャンプサイトや芝生があり、トイレもあります。しかし、海外からの漂流物が少し気になりました。

芝生広場があり、海に降りれる階段もあるので夏は地元の人の遊び場になっていますキャンプ、バーベキューは禁止されてますが、地域外から来る人が普通にキャンプ、バーベキューをしています地区内は道がとても狭いですし、駐車場といえる駐車場もあまりないです。
柱状節理の島を望む。
Recreational Park of Kamejima Island : Kameshima Island is located in the northern part of Echizen Coast of Fukui Prefecture. The town in which the island is located is Matsukage-cho. The island has its legend that a very old turtle which had thick moss grown on its back carried Kannon Statue belonged to Itosaki Temple located in neighboring town of Itosaki-cho arrived here and rested. Later on, the island turned itself into a shape of turtle. Therefore, the island was named Kameshima meaning " Island of Turtle ". The island is approximately 100 meters off the coast of this town and its size is 23 meters in height with 8,000 square meters. There is a long walking path built around the coast near the island and it is a very scenic point as well as being a place for recreational activities. Some parts of the walking path are built with natural rocks around the coast which gives you a sense of being united with its natural surroundings.
