The Sunset Observation Lighthouse is the perfect spot for travelers who want to witness Hokkaido’s dramatic coastal sunsets. From the elevated platform, you can see the sun dipping into the horizon, with the sea stretching endlessly and the coastline framed by Kamome Island’s natural rock formations.We visited as part of our Hokkaido 179 travel goal, and the lighthouse offered one of the most serene and picturesque moments of our journey. The area around the lighthouse is peaceful, with the soft sound of waves below and seabirds occasionally gliding past. It’s a small structure, but its strategic location provides an unobstructed view that is truly breathtaking at golden hour.The lighthouse also serves as a great spot to photograph the nearby Itsukushima Shrine torii and Heisei Rock from a different perspective. Watching the sun cast warm light on these landmarks adds a magical quality to the landscape.
目前無法登上展望台，但身為日本夕陽百選，很值得一來。
