Narihito is the best! And so are his campers. He is extremely friendly and helpful and offers excellent service. I highly recommend renting a camper on Hokkaido at Arigato Campers! He even sent us back a jacket which we left in the camper. And he offers a brilliant map with campings and great spots.

Couldn’t recommend this service enough, Narihito-san was so accommodating and friendly. We had our pick of camping essentials from his stock and he even provided airport transfers. We rented the ‘stealth’ camper for 5 nights as a couple and it was great having the freedom to explore Hokkaidō. The van was comfy, reliable and the heater provided kept us toasty even in the cold weather.

Nari, you are the best. Seriously!! We hired a Bunks Camper for 17 nights & the two of us were so pleased we used Arigato Campers.Everything is included; a huge bonus for us as we had no idea what we'd need really.Despite being Sept into October we were cozy as.The van drove well and with Nari's iPad for navigation & backing camera, driving was a breeze.We stayed in a mixture of RV Camps, Michi- no-ekis, Campgrounds & freedom camping. Hokkaido is well set up for this type of trip. Don't be afraid to try it!! From a couple of mid sixty year old Kiwis, just do it.Make contact with Nari as you won't regret it!

We had a Bunks Campervan for almost a week and we had a beautiful experience discovering Hokkaido. The Van was well equipped with everything we could wish for. Since we arrived from abroad we just had the normal tourist stuff with us, everything else was there. The car was in good condition and is pretty powerful. Mr. Ishikawa picked us up and returned us to the airport. The communication was pleasant. Finally he saved us when we lost our driving license translations later in our trip and arranged a new one within an our to be printed out in a Family Mart at Amami way south. We are very greatful and if you want to discover Hokkaido by RV we fullhartedly recommend Arrigato Campervan and Mr. Ishikawa! Thank you!

We had a great experience with Arigato Capervans! Nari was extremely helpful and assisted us with pick up and drop off at the airport. The campervan was well set up and had everything we needed - including a iPad for navigation and some data to use for our trip. We didn’t need assistance during our week long trip, but we knew that if we did Nari would definitely give us a helping hand for sure. Thanks Nari for helping us have a great time on our honeymoon in Hokkaido!!

1,000% would recommend Arigato Campervan! Nari-san was amazing to work with, so responsive and accommodating. He picked us up/dropped off at the airport. Explained the vehicle to us and stocked it with all necessary camping item for our winter trip. We traveled Hokkaido in it for 9 days on our honeymoon looking to ski! We were never cold in the campervan even though temps were below 0c. It handled well in snowy conditions and had good gas mileage for the size. We want to come back and do it again!!

We rented the basic campervan for five days and it was dialled. Nari was very helpful in helping us set us and get on the road, and he had very good communication before we rented. The van drove super well and handled all the winter conditions we faced incredibly. The iPad Nari gave us was filled with great maps of awesome spots to visit, and having wifi made navigating and exploring a breeze. The set up inside the van was on point. Converting the bed to a table was super easy. The bedding and sleeping bags he gave us kept us super warm in -20 temperatures. Overall super awesome experience and I highly recommend to anyone travelling around Hokkaido, winter or summer. Thanks Arigato Campervan!

2人の兄弟と私は、1月に9日間Basic Campervanを借りて、北海道周辺のバックカントリースキーを楽しみました。なりさんが私たちを迎えに行き、空港に降ろして、寝袋、毛布、調理用コンロ、調理器具、ホットスポットwifi、保存されたメチノエキ（温水バスルーム付きの無料駐車場）と温泉のあるiPadを提供してくれました。旅行中は、駐車場に泊まり、スキーを楽しんだ後、温泉に行き、シャワーを浴びました。バンには四輪駆動があり、氷や雪の処理やmountainの乗り越えに問題はありませんでした。全体的に素晴らしい経験です！（原文）My two brothers and I rented the Basic Campervan for 9 days in January to backcountry ski around Hokkaido. Nari-san picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and provided us with sleeping bags, blankets, a cooking stove, utensils, hotspot wifi, and an Ipad with saved Mechinoeki (free car parks w/ heated bathrooms) and onsens. We stayed at car parks throughout the trip visiting onsens after skiing to warm up and shower. The van has all-wheel drive and had no issues handling ice and snow and getting over mountain passes. Overall a great experience!

The van is very comfortable and easy to drive. Narihito-san provided excellent support for the whole trip. Supplied an ipad, internet moden, and portable battery. The bed was comfortable and part of the wooden base converts to a table. Blankets, pillows, chairs, cooking equipment and stove all provided. Perfect way to see the gorgeous autumn scenery of Hokkaido. Mostly stayed in free parking areas in national parks and reserves. Campsites are a good option but can be expensive and most don't have showers (onsen are everywhere though!). Thank you Narihito-san!
