夷川ダムの特徴
ダム近くは公園のように整備されていて心地よい環境です。
北垣国道像がある場所でダムを楽しむことができます。
レンガ造りのダム施設はとても美しいデザインが魅力です。

琵琶湖疏水の出口？ダムの先（東側）に「平安神宮」「動物園」など有り桜の季節には遊覧船が。北垣国道さんの像があります。雨の日は大変。
琵琶湖疏水にダム画あるとは知りませんでした鴨川方向から行くと放流口が見えるのですが、僕が訪れたときは木が生い茂っていて見にくかったです施設は歩道からフェンス越しに見ることは出来ます施設内には北垣国道像があります。

琵琶湖疎水の流量制御しているダムですね。アニメ『有頂天家族』効果で一躍有名になりましたね。
