The drug store owner was the sweetest old man who helped me pick out a drug for my sore throat. He had a bunch of translation cards ready to go for foreigners to accurately explain their issue to him. He also uses a translation app to accurately give you advice on how to deal with your issue.
The pharmacist (an old man) is super helpful, give suggestion for my sprained ankle, he even help me to apply the patch and give me water to drink the medicine. Such a kind hearted person. Also this store accept card payment.Arigato...
散步在宇治街道時，偶然進入丸五藥局購買一盒維他命，店裡陳列了的藥品、保健食品、簡單日用品算蠻齊全的，於是在這裡也購買了一些常備用品，藥師先生放置在櫃檯有一張日文/英文的症狀對照圖表，這張圖表能夠表示症狀類別、程度等，對於來自外國的我們來說，確實更能表達我們需要的用品，是個對外地遊客友善的藥局。另外他知道我們是來宇治觀光時，給我們一份這裡的觀光地圖，並且熱心的在地圖上標示建議的路線，這對我們這天的路線安排提供很大的幫助，我們沿途參訪了平等院、上宇治神社以及源氏物語博物館，傍晚再繞道宇治川，宇治真的是個人文、自然環境都十分豐富的好地方。
謝謝藥師老爺爺細心用翻譯和我們講解服用方法及注意事項，讓我們在日本旅行又臨時生病時有個舒緩的方法！還說了water free讓我們立刻服藥，告知我們下一次吃藥時間，很感謝。
Amazing. He was very helpful and kind. Very details and there is a symptoms list in English too. I was cold and he helped to find the suitable medicines, even offer me free hand warmer since I only wore Kimono and it was pretty cold. I got free water to take the medicine too. Great service ever. 旅行腳痛，來到這藥局藥師（老闆？）有一份說明紙板，有人體和不舒服症狀的圖示，且有日文和中文對照，所以只要手指指一指就能溝通。老闆依照症狀推薦藥和貼布，都會用淺顯的日文和比手畫腳，再次確認症狀。若是止痛藥，會確認有沒有藥物過敏、是否懷孕、是否服用其他藥⋯等，同樣是語言對照的紙板。可以跟老闆取水吃藥，他還會提醒你幾小時後，吃第二顆藥。在店內套護腳踝套，他還準備一張紙放地上，讓人可以腳踩地板。老闆在語言對照，準備相當充足。人也很親切和耐心，超級感激能遇到他！

When I was going down the stairs at the station, I accidentally missed a step and twisted my ankle. The pharmacist was really kind and friendly!!!! He taught me how to wrap it properly and recommended the right products for me. He can speak simple english and make sure that I understand everything correctly. It was an amazing experience.
