An amazing stay. Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay here. Gorgeous cabin, great location, we also took the option of hiring the car and did lots of exploring. Great hosts, incredibly helpful and full of local knowledge. Highly recommended, have already booked again!
My first time to Myoko as a single female solo traveler - never felt unsafe and the host was incredibly helpful. Everyone around the vicinity was also helpful. Signs were clear and easy to navigate.The house was very cosy and rooms were clean and came with plush mattress, blankets and pillows. House was well equipped for light cooking.
Lovely place - cosy retreat in the mountains and a short (uphill) walk to the local village centre of Akakura. Buses are available to Myoko-Kogen station, whence you can get to Nagano. Excellently placed to take advantage of local ski and snowboard facilities.Heating system, though a little antiquated, works well and the owner was good at anticipating the needs of the group.Downsides are the limited communal space available if all three bedrooms are used as such and single toilet and sink.Overall, would recommend and would stay again.

不思議な宿、木の中で寝ているような印象を受けました。部屋のとても素敵な景色。とても清潔でとても機能的な場所。お勧めです。崇高な雪、素晴らしい場所。（原文）Hebergement magique, nous avons eu l impression de dormir dans les arbres. Très belle vue des chambres. Endroit très propre et très fonctionnel. Je le recommande. La neige sublime, endroit merveilleux.
