Bought my knife here 2 yrs ago and its still super sharp. Came back again to get a smaller knife and a knife for my sister. Very helpful staff and they do free engraving so my knife and sisters knife have our last names in japanese.
Lovely staff, very helpful. The gentleman who served us spoke English and knew what he was talking about and explained how each knife was made. Would rate higher if I could. 60/10
Excellent service and excellent selection of quality knives. They have the largest selection of knives for left handed users. Free engraving. Very friendly staff, very customer oriented, jovial and knowledgeable and very good in English. Highly recommended.
Very impressed with the service i received during my purchase.Staff were knowledgeable, professional & friendly.Prices were acceptable, with a good quantity of stock for whatever you want to purchase.Engraving available, but not used, and they are happy to ship internationally.Pay them a visit & compare with other retailers, you'll probably be back.

Great knife shop with a wide variety of knives by Koshinoitto from Niigata prefecture. The service was friendly, patient, and informative. I was looking for an all-purpose (santoku) knife, the shop had a wide range from affordable to wish-list and a variety of finishes.I went with a shorter 165mm length, a Japanese handle within my budget. The knife is beautifully finished, well weighted, and just feels balanced in the hand. The shorter length is not available at a lot of the other stores.The gentleman who served me spoke English too, so that made it easier. There are a lot of knife shops in the area, but I would recommend anyone looking to add this shop to your list.They also do free engraving, which is an extra bonus!! Thank you for your help today.

We stumbled upon this store while we were walking around Kappabashi area with my family. The owner, Mr. Abe is such a wonderful man. He was very helpful. I was searching a birthday gift for my dear friend who lives in Las Vegas and who has never been to Japan before. I thought getting an authentic Japanese knife would be perfect for him. Most of the stores forbid you from taking photos or filming inside their stores. But to my surprise, Mr. Abe insisted for me to make a video of the engraving process and take a picture of the finished product. That tells me that he is very confident and proud of his products.
