蓬莱池泉庭（書院東庭）の特徴
池のある庭園が特に美しく、訪れる価値があります。
開山昊天和尚と小堀遠州の合作で魅力的です。
龍潭寺の書院の東に位置し、鶴亀蓬莱庭園が広がります。
枯山水の庭園もいいが、水の入った池がある庭園もいい。この龍潭寺は両方備わっているからさらにいい。（2022_11_06）
龍潭寺の書院の東にある鶴亀蓬莱庭園は、開山昊天和尚と小堀遠州の合作だそうです。佐和山の峰を借景とし、池は玲龍の池というそうです。

周辺のオススメ
There is NO English language way to find this place. I literally stumbled upon it by chance, and this garden, which I understand to be a PART of Ryotanji Temple, is actually very separate to the temple. I didn't see a temple at all. I literally saw just this garden, and a traditional building beside/amongst it, and it was a 10/10 experience.I am so shattered that this is not google-able to non-japanese speakers, because this is one of the most beautiful places I've been in Japan. Being in the garden looks completely different to the Temple photos.It was breath taking. Nothing in Japan has made me feel like this before.
