The best school to raise Muslim children! Mashaa Allah, alhamdulilah.I've seen a lot of progress in my first child, now he's able to read the Quran from the age of 6,5 yo. Another positive thing is, since the students here are few in number, it's likely easier to monitor and control their upbringing environment. It feels relieving to see my children being surrounded with islamic-minded teachers and friends with good characters and behaviors.However, I couldn't hide my disappointment for the fact that the school board members once rejected my second child's enrollment. If the reason was because the minimum age acceptance is from 5 yo, why at that time there were already three other 4 yo students going to the school?I felt treated unfairly and unjustly.Even so, we finally managed to enroll him for the kindergarten level 2 months before his 5th birthday.Another thing that concerns me the most and still unsolved is, the academic calendar that's being used in this school.As an islamic school, I do really understand the reason why they have holidays every Friday, as well as on Eidul Fitr and Eidul Adha.But adding the Japanese calendar's public holidays, plus the winter, spring, and summer holidays on top of the islamic holidays I wrote earlier, is TOO MUCH.Even sometimes they make the school off too if there's any spread of viruses or sickness.Literally holidays after holidays.I really suggest the school board members consider sticking to islamic calendar only, so there won't be too many holidays in a year. What a waste of time.Many families put high hopes into this school.We moved, shifted, sacrificed, built a new life and spent a lot, only in order to make our kids enter this school.We're not trying to put the burden of raising our own kids on the teachers' shoulders, but I do really wish they can understand that too many holidays in a year is disappointing.It's not equivalent to the effort.I really wish there will be clarity on this matter.
