Went there for matcha and hojicha tea leaves and powder! They have other types of tea too!Lovely old lady welcomed us and explain to us which tea leaves/powder are they. The price is very reasonable!Cash only payment.Would love to go there again! :D

Very sweet lady running the store! This is place is cash only so make sure to have some on hand. I was able to see and smell the matcha powder which was very pleasant. I recommend anybody looking for Matcha to come here!
We asked someone local for a tea shop and was directed here.The tea lady was very kind and helpful, it was a pleasant surprise that she served us a cup of matcha tea.
可愛い、おばあちゃんがやっているお店です。お抹茶粉、お茶、急須、茶筅などを扱っています。外国の方によくお抹茶粉が売っているお店がないか聞かれますが、必ずこちらのお店を紹介しています。
Best matcha in Japan!! I’ve traveled all over Japan, including Kyoto and Osaka, and they were the most delicious! So much so that I hiked 20 minutes in the snow on my last day in Japan to grab another container of matcha before I flew back home. I love supporting small businesses as well, and the people here were truly kind and grateful. Don’t forget to bring yen though because they can’t accept card!
八幡神社附近的茶葉販售店，販售日本各地出產好茶；裝茶葉容器非常典雅很像漆器技術而且還非常便宜。
Amazing hidden tea shop in Asakusa. Very worth the trip. The store is small, but amazing tea at great prices. The older woman who runs the store is very kind, and makes great recommendations. I brought some tea home with me, and bought a bunch as souvenirs to gift. You have to make the trip!
This place has the best matcha powder in all of Japan. When we were here in April, we bought multiple different types of matcha from different stores in different prefectures. This one is by far the sweetest and has the best flavor. I was so excited to find this place again, I cried when we left. The owners are very nice and professional. I will always return here when we come to Japan.
