プロ野球で使われていた、折れたバットを使った箸を販売されています。以前はグリップ部分を使った靴べらを販売されていましたが、25年11月に訪問した際はありませんでした。
Owner speaks English and the variety of chopsticks is really broad. Possibility to have them engraved with your name in English and/or in Japanese. Good range of prices too. Excellent wedding presents.
The selection is ok and kinda pricey. If you are going to be in Kyoto, I felt like Kitchen Yuzen next to Nishiki market was cheaper, better selection/quality, and did engravings for free.
Recently went there to buy a gift for a friend. It’s conveniently located close to a temple that I wanted to visit. There are a wide range of chopsticks to select (only the ones marked with a yellow sticker can have name customization). There’s chopsticks as cheap as 3000 yen to the more high end chopsticks that will set you back 100,000 yen (I bought the more affordable one).
Customer service here is the best i have had so far in all my years of being alive . The man who works here is so incredibly nice and deserves absolutely everything in the world and although there was a language barrier , he did everything he could to communicate and hold a friendly conversation with us . At the end , after completing our purchase , we were even very kindly gifted chopstick holders to accompany the chopsticks we had bought . I will be sure to buy at this place again in the near future when i revisit Japan and I wish nothing but the best for this shop .

The chopsticks is cool and the quality is great. However, I got the wrong name engraved on it. It’s a thin golden line that separates F and E n the word PEAR.Please check carefully before you leave the shop, don’t be like me.Hope I notice it before i came back from Japan. T T
贈答用の箸を買いに行きました。贈答用の桐箱は種類がたくさんあり、選ぶのが楽しかったです。子供用の箸もあり、箸トレーニングの仕方を丁寧に教えてくれました。箸は毎日使うもの。良いものを選べる箸屋さんだと思います。せっかくお勧めいただいたので、楽しんでトレーニング進めたいと思います。
いつもお世話になっている兵左衛門さんの店が浅草に有ると知り、行ってみました。プレゼント用の箸に名入れをしてもらいました。
