Great place for retreat and rest
Kirsten and Shiro are such wonderful hosts, and they've prepared a gem of a cottage for guests. Driving through the mango orchard after a day of exploring Okinawa to a quiet comfortable home (with lots of stars and no light pollution) was a dreamy daily routine. The house is very comfortable - everything works great, awesome shower/hot water, nice beds, etc. Izumi is a smaller collection of plots at the intersection between several of the larger towns in the Motobu/Nago areas - so quiet but central in a way. 15 minute drive to so much. Cooking on the campfire next to the cottage was a joy. They helped us jump our car when we accidentally left the power on. They also invited us to join one of their social gatherings, which was a wonderful way to meet some local folks in a familiar environment. One of the best living experiences I've ever had.

Wow, superbe logement! Beaucoup plus grand que nous l’imaginions, avec une vue incroyable et parfaitement équipé (cuisine très bien équipée). Nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous nous sommes vraiment sentis comme à la maison. Nous avons fait deux feux extérieurs : c’était extrêmement relaxant, et le ciel étoilé était magnifique. Il y a énormément d’activités à faire dans le nord, ce qui rend l’emplacement idéal. Kirsten et Shiro étaient très sympathiques et nous ont recommandé d’excellents restaurants et de super activités. Un vrai petit paradis, allez-y sans hésiter !
