Great store went there twice. It took a bit of courage to enter, but worth it.
とても素晴らしいお店です。家の表札を作ってくれますが、完成までに約2週間かかります。外国人の場合は、来月（または次回）に受け取りに来る必要があります。店主の奥さんはとても親切で、言葉が通じなくても丁寧に説明してくれました。It’s an excellent shop.They can make customized nameplates for houses, but it takes about two weeks to complete.Foreign customers need to come back next month (or on their next visit) to pick them up.The owner’s wife is very kind and patiently explains everything even if there’s a language barrier.
Amazing little shop to stumble upon!!It isn’t anything like those fancy looking gallery shops with window walls attracting unsuspecting tourists to spend up big.This joint is traditional in every sense. Old school. Got a really beautiful tea cup. Wanted to buy more items (was keen for a one handed kettle with fat handle) but as was my last day in Japan I barely had any cash left. Made me regret every cash purchase I’d made in previous days.I won’t make that mistake next time.The only downside was it’s a CASH ONLY business but given Japan is still very much a cash economy for its retail sector I won’t downscore for tradition.
Nice, cosy shop with ceramics and other handcrafted items. Lovely lady whose brother makes the stuff. Cash only so make sure you keep enough for this place.Traditional Japanese tea pots and cups; beautifully crafted in varied styles.My favourite shop in downtown Kyoto.
表札屋さんなのか、陶器の食器屋さんなのかよくわからないですが、下手ではないです。かなり年季の入った店構えで、初見で中に入るのはなかなか勇気がいります。地元の人たちはここに頼みに来るのかな…？
下手ではない。謙遜だと思う。見ていると楽しいし、京都らしい雰囲気がある。周辺地域も禁煙なので安心安全である。

店主是個客氣的女士，對外國人也很親切，這裡的瓷器都有著獨特的風格。很驚喜在這邊找到了喜歡的瓷器，包裝也很仔細，對於旅客來說，是可以放心放在行李箱的狀況，完全不用擔心運送問題。下次再到京都時還要來尋寶！
