Great house near Ohama beach
長いことここのAirBnBを利用していますがオーナーさんがとても親切でいつも色々なサポートをしてくれるのでありがたいです。海まで歩いてすぐの立地なので、駐車場が込み合う夏場はかなり重宝する立地です。外にシャワーがあるので海水浴帰りでも砂まみれにならないのは最高。値段もそこまで高くなく、良心的ですし、チェックインからチェックアウトまでもスムーズに対応していただけるのは非常にありがたいです。ほかの宿泊施設と比較して総合点で群を抜いていると思います。・駐車場：車が2台停車できるスペースがあるのでグループでの訪問も問題なしです。・WiFi：スピード申し分なしでサクサクです・アメニティ：バスタオル、フェイスタオル、歯ブラシ、化粧水、クレンジング、シャンプー、ボディソープ、洗濯機、洗濯洗剤、ドリップコーヒーとかなり充実・ジェンガ、UNO、トランプ、ツイスター、ボードゲームがあり、大人から子供まで楽しめる・一階と二階にトイレがあり、ウォシュレット完備・一階は和室、ベッドルーム（シングル2台）、二階は洋室二部屋の作りになっています。二階は一回と吹き抜け・冷蔵庫は新しく冷えは抜群。調理器具はほぼなんでもそろっていますし食器類も充実。・ベランダはかなり広く、椅子やハンモックがあり、バーベキューができる仕様になっています。・冬場は電気カーペットでかなり暖かく温暖に過ごすことができて心地いいです。・エアコンも効きがよく寒い、熱いと感じたことはないです。個人的な近隣施設でのオススメは「South Cafe」と「やまや」と「On The Beach」でどれもボリューム満点で味よしです。車でどこも10分以内。バーベキューなどの買い出しは下田のMAXバリューが一番近いかなと思います。また、オーナーさんからバーベキュー用の肉の盛り合わせをいただくことができます。どれも脂たっぷりのジューシーな食べ応えで最高です！ベーコンも最高においしいです！

Our group of 4 adults and 4 kids had a wonderful stay here in Dec ’25.We booked the home months in advance via Airbnb, and communication with the hosts was consistently prompt and helpful. The house itself feels very down-to-earth and homely—it genuinely felt like visiting a family home rather than staying in a rental.There’s no TV in the unit (though Wi-Fi is available), which turned out to be a blessing as it encouraged us to spend more quality time together. The host also thoughtfully stocked board games and toys for the kids, which kept them happily occupied.We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gifts—a bottle of wine and a box of local cookies. Such a warm gesture, and our first time experiencing this from an Airbnb host.We were told the owner also runs a yakiniku restaurant and can arrange BBQ meats and a local sashimi boat. Always keen to try local delicacies, we reserved dinner for our first night—which turned out to be a great decision. We arrived around 5:30pm after stopping by Gotemba, with the sun already setting and the kids quite tired from the road trip. The dinner gave us a perfect chance to recharge and settle into the house.The town itself is small and tranquil. We visited Kisami Ohama Beach, which is accessible via a shortcut just beside the house (a couple of houses away). It’s easy to miss at first—the path looks like an open field with wild grass until you walk further in and spot the beach sign.We also had fun at the nearby Toji Sand Skiing Beach—the host even provided two sledges for us to use—and explored the Sea Cave right next to the sand skiing area.Our favourite lunch/brunch spot was Fermen Co., a lovely little pizza place by the beach about a 10-minute drive from the house. We also made a visit to Cape Tsumekizaki Lighthouse.Overall, Ohama House was a comfortable and pleasant base for exploring the area. Highly recommended for families looking for a cosy, home-like stay.
