小原城跡の特徴
戦国時代の城の形がそのまま残り、貴重な史跡です。
石垣のない時代を体感できる特別な場所になっています。
小原城跡は歴史を感じる散策に最適なスポットです。
現在の岐阜県可児郡御嵩町小原地区にあった城趾です。城趾の近くの小原公民館に駐車スペースがあり、縄張り図が記載された看板も設置されています。西に150m程の白山神社の奥山が城趾になります。白山神社の参道は傾斜がきつく幅の狭い石段になります。白山神社の左側裏手に登城口があり、道に迷わないように緑色のロープが張られており曲輪・堅堀・堀切・土塁などを確認しながら約10分位で主郭に着きました。散策時間は30分程でした。
登りやすい。整備されて良い。
戦国時代、特に石垣のない時代の城の形がそのまま残っている貴重な場所。
Access to the Obara Castle ruins is via the Hakusan Shrine at the base of the mountain, parking is available at the nearby community centre.You can climb the steep steps to the shrine or the easier route, a path to the side. The shrine is on top of what almost looks like a pyramid, climb the steps and behind and to the left of the shrine the trailhead to the castle ruins can be found.There are multiple signs along the path detailing what each area was used for and a green rope to guide the way. The trail is well defined and the peak of the mountain has a small shrine.An interesting castle ruin and worth checking out if in the area.
