Ｇｕｅｓｔ Ｈｏｕｓｅ エアーワンの特徴
地下鉄から近くてアクセスが良好で、周辺には多くの店があります。
日本のスタンダードとしては広めのスタジオで、タタミが心地よく眠れます。
鍵の受け取りが少し手間ですが、清潔感のある設備が整っています。
Buyer beware - this is not a hotel, although it's listed/described in multiple travel booking sites as one. It is effectively an AirBnB, a studio in a residential apartment block (no reception/amenities).It is very hard to find, as no instructions provided and Google Maps will take you to the rear parking lot (look for the Toyoko Inn Fukuoka, corridor that leads to the building is right next to it). You have to call the owner when you arrive, for him to come give you the key and let you in (not very convenient if you bought a local SIM chip, as they don't allow calls, had to put my Vodafone chip back in the mobile and pay the roaming fee). Owner doesn't speak English, but does a good enough job using Google Translate.This said, it's a nice sized studio (considering Japanese standards), was clean and had a washing machine and kitchenette. Traditional tatames to sleep were comfortable. Location is good, close to transport and local shops, short walk from restaurants and night life. Hakata Station is walking distance (30mins).I would recommend it, as long as you understand and can put up with the limitations listed above.
夜9:30ぐらいに鍵がなくて開けられず電話をかけたところ現在使われてないと言われすごく困りました。そのあと住人の方に助けて頂きましたが、今後きっと海外の方はもっと困るだろうし助けて欲しくてもうまく伝えることも難しくなるし…改善していただければ幸いです。
