Wow! Finding this cute and colorful cat-themed bar was a highlight of our Kyoto establishment discoveries. First, the decor in the bar was so clever and creative. There was a new cat-themed visual treat every place you looked. It was such a comfortable, colorful and welcoming environment.Additionally, the warm hospitality of the owner, Tomoe, deserves 10-stars. We chatted for more than an hour as we were the only early-bird guests in the bar. Tomoe shared tips on Kyoto dining, film, and art venues. We chatted about cats, cat names and shared photos of travels, pets & our grandbaby.Everything about Nekoboh immediately makes you feel at home. I 100% recommend visiting this awesome bar when you’re in Kyoto. It is an absolute gem!
This cafe/bar is incredible for cat lovers! The owner was so friendly and we loved chatting with her. The drinks were great too.
What an absolute treat to discover this feline themed cafe bar off the beaten track! Chilled out jazzy vibe and so much fun cat stuff to look at. Drinks even have cat paw ice cubes! We kept ordering more drinks to see what cat design our glasses would have. Be sure to try the catnip liqueur. The owner was so friendly and fun to chat with. She made us feel right at home. I can’t recommend this cafe highly enough!
Wonderful vibes, everything is cat themed. The entrance is from Shinbashi-dori as it isn't clear from Googlemaps. Definitely worth a visit for any cat enthusiasts and admirers🐱
Didn't try the food but the drinks are delicious. Super relaxing atmosphere, the sweetest owner who was very helpful with local suggestions and the cat themed was super cute. Highly recommend if a cat fan or of relaxing a relaxing time. Also can buy super cute keychains or stickers to go to rescue cats <3
While wandering Kyoto at night we found a sign pointing us to Tomoe's cat themed bar (No actual cats were present). She welcomed us kindly, chatted with us all night and was an overall amazing host. We talked about cats, movies, ourselves and Kyoto. She recommended us to some really cool shrines around the area. If you're around we highly recommend visiting Tomoe!

猫🐈⬛大好きソムリエママのカフェ&ワインバー。猫ラベルの厳選リーズナブルワインを飲ませてくれます！海外の方も多く来店。アットホームな雰囲気で、カウンターは和気藹々と楽しい時間を過ごせます。ドリンクだけでなく、ママお手製のチョコをはじめ、美味しいおつまみも◎！
二度目の訪問でした。一度目は食後すぐだったのでお茶だけでしたがおすすめのギョウザと担々麺があるのを知り再度訪問しました。ギョウザは手作りの皮でモチモチ、大きくて味噌だれをつけなくてもとても美味しいです。有機黒胡麻担々麺も麺がタピオカ入りでつるつるしてて大好きです。最後に頂いた「なつめのワイン煮」絶品です。どれも丁寧で健康に心配りのあるお料理でした。本当にご馳走様でした。雰囲気は店内が猫グッズ雰囲気なので個人差があるのでは…と思い星4つにしました。本も色々置いてあるので楽しめます。
