My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed this peaceful ikebana lesson. What a breath of fresh air in contrast to the busy Kyoto scene! Taro-san and Chiaki-san were incredibly welcoming and knowledgable and encouraged us that there was no right or wrong answer. Our ikebana was also delivered to our accomodation afterwards. OOKINI 🌸🙏🏼
We had a wonderful ikebana class. The host was kind and patient, even when I paused to translate for my mother in Spanish, and they guided us calmly even past the scheduled time. They shared clear insights into ikebana and welcomed our ideas, so our arrangements felt uniquely ours. The seasonal flowers were a lovely touch, and delivering our finished pieces to the hotel was incredibly considerate. Seeing them in our room kept reminding us of the class and brought a calm energy to our space. They also provided a simple, thorough guide that made it easy to recreate at home. Highly recommended.
Loved our ikebana lesson at Sekka! A very friendly couple, Chiaki and Tadaaki, own the place and curate the class. We had a theoretical part where we were shown how to make it, and a practical part where we created our own compositions with help from teachers. And surprisingly for us Chiali and Tadaaki, also, offered us to deliver our ikebanas to the hotel, so we also enjoyed the compositions in our room.Thank you very much for having us at your studio, we will definitely return 🌹♥️🌹
オーナーの生ける花は独創的で素敵です。贈り物などにもアレンジをたびたびお願いしますがひと味ちがってておススメです。
アート空間かわいい空間のお店❤️お店の観葉植物、お祝い事など。
Awesome Ikebana experience. After 1h training the host proposed to bring my ikebana for free into my hotel room and take it back when I leave. He did it after work. Highly skilled and nice people. Speaking English.
Not the usual type of flower shop, special and beautiful flowers, plants and arrangements. The shop owners are very friendly and knowledgeable.
