放生池の特徴
満開の梅の花が幻想的な光景を演出しています。
美しい花菖蒲が咲き誇る風流な池は見逃せません。
ライトアップされた梅の花が別世界に誘います。
冬、1月ごろになると池の周りの梅が咲きます🌸とくに冬晴れの日は、梅と青空のコントラストが美しいです❣️

Hōjō Pond at this temple is one of those rare places where your brain just… exhales.The pond is framed by lush greenery & dotted with koi that look like they were pulled from a billionaire’s screensaver. A stone lantern leans into the water, a small waterfall hums in the background & the whole thing feels like nature’s version of a Spotify chill playlist.The balance here is remarkable: chaos on the Kamakura streets outside, serenity on the inside. Sit by the rocks, watch the koi, & suddenly your heart rate drops like you just closed your email inbox.Pro tip: don’t rush it. This is not a “snap a pic and move on” stop. Give it time, & this place gives back tenfold.
境内には色々な池がありますが、こちらの池は大きく良く手入れをされており綺麗で風情があります。
こちらは2024年03月04日の訪問となります。山門をくぐって右手前にある、この回遊式庭園に於いて（左手側の）妙智池と対をなす池です。広い分、こちらのほうが比較的ゴージャスかもしれない。鯉がたくさん泳いでいます。
風流な池です。
花菖蒲が綺麗に咲いていました。滝の音や竹から流れ落ちる水の音で、拝観者が多いのにザワついた感じがまったく無く、梅雨時のジメッと感も振り払われているようです。池も広いので開放感がありますね。赤い睡蓮も綺麗でした。
梅の花のライトアップを見ましたが幻想的で別世界の様でした。
Simply an outstanding temple complex well worth visiting.
