柑子岳登山駐車場（一の谷登山口）の特徴
急登の階段があり、ハイキングには体力が求められる、眺めは素晴らしい。
一の谷から簡単にアクセスでき、車での到着も楽な舗装道が整備されている。
登山道は主に木製の階段で構成されており、ハイキング初心者でも挑戦しやすい。
2019年1月柑子岳登山で訪問車は少し下に停め、一の谷から入山いきなり急登の階段が始まる山頂までは40分程度で難所はない。
きつかったが眺めは良かった。リベンジしたい。
This is the area near the entrance to the mountain hike. The hike is steep. You will be rewarded with great views of fukuoka city. I thank the people who maintains the trail. The bamboo growing on the trail was recently removed when we climed.

周辺のオススメ
We parked here to hike up Mt Koshi. It's about 1 mile round trip and took us 1 hour overall. This spot has room for a few cars and we drove there okay in a small car. There was no off-road to get there, it was paved the whole way. No bathrooms. The hike has mostly wooden stairs in fair condition - we did fine in walking shoes. The view from the top is nice of part of Itoshima and beyond to Fukuoka, although it would be better if the trees were trimmed. We did see one Asian Giant Hornet on the climb - terrifying! Didn't see it on the way down. I hope to never see one of those again.
