春日神社の特徴
桧尾川堤防横にあり、風情ある景観を楽しめる神社です。
管理の行き届いた境内で、安心して参拝できます。
昔から親しんでいる地域の憩いの場としても知られています。
Hidden amidst the calm residential streets of Takatsuki, Kasuga Shrine offers a gentle pause in everyday life. Stone torii and lanterns guide you along a moss-dappled path, where tall trees arch overhead, creating a cathedral of green.The main hall—reconstructed in 1980—is understated, framed by ancient cedar trees that seem to guard its humble presence . As you step inside, the scent of aged wood and lingering incense wraps around you like a soft embrace.Although modest in size, the shrine carries centuries of devotion: from its origins in the 15th century to once serving as the guardian of seventy-five nearby villages—and even hosting rain-making rituals until 1920 . The familiar shapes—stone torii, mossy lanterns, and the venerable honden—remind you that quiet places hold ancient stories.Here, time slows. A fox statue, a single omikuji tied to the branch of a tree, the rustle of leaves overhead—they offer a connection to something deeper and timeless.
鵜殿の葦原に行ったついでに偶々立ち寄りました。この辺りは古くは藤原氏の土地だったようで、春日神社(鳥居の扁額には春日大明神)が祀られています。流石に藤原氏、本殿の欄間も鹿。本殿向かって右奥には松倉大明神が摂社として祀られています。こちらの由緒は不明ですが、おそらく本来の氏神様かと。
今年のラス詣。
初詣に寄らせてもらっています。お参りすると不思議に心が安らぐ気がします。
子供の頃よく遊びに行っていた。優しい神主さん？に落ち葉の焚き火でじゃがいも焼いて貰ってました。いい思い出です。
管理の行き届いた神社で桧尾川の堤防横に鎮座しています。
