Highly recommend! This shop sells customised lanterns (for which you wait around a month) and those that you can buy straight away. There is a large selection of both indoor and outdoor lanterns. Very helpful staff!
我が家の御神燈が傷んできたので新調をお願いしました 家紋もこちらの思い通りに入れていただき前の提灯の金具も再利用され日本のエコ技術は昔から有るのだなと改めて感心しました 五穀豊穣が続くよう祈るばかりです。
I've visited a few places in Tokyo and Kyoto that sell traditional Japanese lanterns, but this one is the best I've been to.The shop is small but packed with a lot of lamps. Some are still drying outside or inside, and you can observe the workers as they paint, fix, and create new ones.You can't order custom lamps, but you can buy whatever they have in stock. They come in different sizes and colors, both plastic and traditional paper.The prices are very reasonable and depend on the size. I bought two and brought them home - they're all super nice.I highly recommend this workshop, whether you're looking to shop or just want to see how the lanterns are made. It's worth noting that they speak English and accept cards
