This was my first time wearing a kimono, and everyone made me feel comfortable and was very attentive. I also had my hair done to match the beautiful kimono they provided. Everyone was so kind and happy to help, and I would definitely recommend this place.
We had such a wonderful experience renting original Japanese kimonos here! The staff at プリンス美容室 L.O.F were incredibly kind and attentive, helping us choose the right style and showing us how to wear everything properly. The kimonos were beautiful, authentic, and very comfortable to wear while exploring. They really took the time to make sure we felt great in them, and the whole process was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended if you want a genuine kimono experience in Japan!
This was my second time visiting the salon and I have had the best time each time! Me and my friends rented a kimono from Mrs Shimizu and we received service like nowhere else. Mrs Shimizu and the rest of the staff were so sweet. This was definitely not my last time coming here!

Being able to experience Takayama in a proper kimono was amazing. The kimonos here are all so beautiful and I can only recommend anyone visiting Takayama to come here get a real experience and try one for themselves. Super kind, amazing service, definitely recommend.
The best hair cut I have ever had in my life! Wonderful hairdresser with deep understanding of aesthetics. The price is more than reasonable because it includes nice massage of scalp and shoulder, and shampoo wash. I highly recommend this hair saloon to anyone who could have one hour time in Takayama.

We had a great experience here getting dressed in Kimonos. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and they made sure we felt comfortable the whole time. The kimonos looked amazing and we were able to return them the next morning. Would definitely recommend trying this in Takayama!
