五百羅漢［清水寺］の特徴
清水寺の参道中に位置し、静かに佇む五百羅漢、神秘的な雰囲気です。
素敵な三重の塔があり、訪れる人々を魅了する美しい景観があります。
本坊庭園からの参拝道は約2キロあり、自然に囲まれた楽しいハイキングが楽しめます。
とてもきれいな所です。
清水寺本坊庭園から清水寺の参道中にあります。様々な表情の地蔵があり、時が止まったかのような空間です。
お釈迦様の五百人の弟子、だそうです。地元の小学生のクイズが道中にいくつかあります。五百羅漢のすぐそばを歩くことができます。上の車道を歩くのなら大丈夫ですが、すぐそばは小川と入り組んでいて岩が多いので足元に気を付けてください。首が折れておられる石像さんに、別の頭や石が乗せてあり、きっと可哀相だと思われた方が置いたのかな？と考えると心がほっこりします。怖い場所ではありません！
江戸時代中期（約250年前）に作られたとされる石像群で、表情や姿勢が一体一体異なり、非常に人間味があります。苦悩・喜び・怒りなど、さまざまな感情を表現したリアルな姿で、見る者の心を映すとも言われます。観音堂の背後、山の斜面を登った場所に整然と並んでおり、散策路としても楽しめます。
素敵な三重の塔がありました。
庭園の駐車場から歩いて5分くらい、仁王門の手前にひっそりと佇んでいます。
本堂近くにも駐車場はありますが清水寺の本坊庭園の駐車場から新緑に包まれながら参拝させて頂きました途中に御堂や五百羅漢仁王門などがあり約2キロの道のりも楽しく歩くことができました往復４キロのハイキング丁度よい運動かも✨
