入魂の宿の特徴
柳幸典の新作《入魂の宿》が楽しめる美術館です。
以前の学校のプールを利用した独自の生態系が広がっています。
毎年10月に開催されるアートインスタレーションが特徴的です。
5/21に伺いました。雨降る眺望もまた一つ。その内、宿泊してみたい。
GWに宿泊しました。施設内は非常にキレイに整えられています。満点の星空の下、中庭で頂いた備え付けの美味しいお茶を堪能させて頂きました。宿泊施設の駐車場は、事前にGoogleマップで確認した行き方とは少し違いまして、廃校の正門に向かって左手の急坂を下ると右側が駐車スペースになっており、釣り人さんの車も何台か停まっておりましたのですぐわかりました。入口の暗証番号を忘れると夜間締め出されて大変だと思いましたので、スマホで撮影とメモ書きを携帯の二重の対策で外出しました。
現代美術家、柳幸典の新作《入魂の宿》。同作品は石牟礼道子の文学に着想を得た柳幸典が廃校となった小学校のプールをリノベーションして生み出す大型屋外作品です。プールを芸術作品に仕上げてホテルの前に展示してあります。目の前の赤尾島と織りなった芸術作品を見ることが出来ますよ。
This is an amazing modern art place, what combines several elements as:- inside bio top, what previously was a school swimming pool, with various types of plants- hotel, where you can stay for a night surrounded by sea, nature, and ski full of stars- and every October an art installation what connect tent with a small island what represents the connection between past and current time using the red ropes.If you have a car and eager to explain new places - this is definitely to visit!

If you have the Chance to stay there you should, its affordable and surely a one of a Kind experience. The Location is outside the Village near to the Coast. Next to the Museum, where you can stay, is a huge closed concrete school and a empty field with a playground and toilet. The atmosphere is calm and Open. At the coast is a small Island what is reachable are Ebb tide.
