母と一泊二日でお世話になりました。母はアレルギーが多く、旅で食べ物を楽しめる機会はなかなかなかったのですが、ホストがアレルギーという制約条件の中で、母が安心して、美味しく食べられる食事を用意してくださいました。食べ物もインテリアも、ひとつひとつにホストの思い出や思想が詰まっていて、ホストの存在も、宿の空間も、向島も、宝物のように感じられました。感動と感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。ここで味わった、衣食住の豊かさを学びにかえて、自分自身の日常生活にも活かしたいと思います。また、大切な人と帰ります！
If you have the opportunity to stay here – do it!Staying at Yota’s place was a highlight of our trip – a truly unique and memorable experience. We felt honoured to be welcomed into his home, surrounded by thoughtfully collected treasures and beautiful design. The house itself is really cool – full of character, warmth, and charm.Yota’s cooking was next level – both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented, made with fresh ingredients and so much care.We’re so thankful to have had this experience. It’s something we’ll never forget.
初めての直島旅行で、こちらのお宿に宿泊させていただきました。オーナー様はとても親切で温かく、お料理の提供も全て用意してくださいます。施設やお料理全てにこだわりを感じられ、とても素晴らしい経験をさせていただきました。オーナー様の人生経験すべてが、空間のしつらえや雰囲気、お料理に息づいているのが印象的で、疲れたときや、人生の節目にふと訪れたくなるような、大切にしたいお宿に出会えたことに感謝しております。次はどんな話が聞けるのか、どんな音楽が流れているのか、また必ず戻ってきたい、そんな宿でした。✨SPECIAL THANKS YOTA SAN !!
words cannot being to make this place justice. if you have the chance to stay here—do it.in a small island off the coast of naoshima, the most stunning restored japanese house, filled with art, records, insanely beautiful furniture, and the most comfortable beds you can imagine which are a dream after a long day of biking around the nearby islands.every room in yota's house is a universe on its own—we could have stayed forever exploring all the magazines and listening to all the CDs and records, and eating all the delicious food! every dinner dish was so flavorful and delicious, it was by far one of the best meals of my life and the highlight of my trip to japan.my friend and i will cherish these memories forever. thank you so much yota-san!
Meeste unieke overnachting van onze reis in Japan!Heerlijk plek om helemaal tot rust te komen na een aantal weken reizen van hotel naar hotel. Het huis is van Yuta die je van je aankomst tot vertrek perfect verzorgd. Hij ontvangt maar 1 paar gasten per nacht.We kwamen aan en zijn plaatjes gaan draaien van de Peppers en rond gekeken in het kunstzinnige huis. Daarna kregen we een fantastisch diner! De volgende dag een heerlijk ontbijt om vervolgens Naoshima verder te gaan ontdekken. Je kan je bagage afgeven bij een coin locker of fietsen verhuur.Niet te missen ervaring, gewoon boeken!
