蒙古山之碑の特徴
元寇の見張り台があった歴史的な場所に位置しています。
頂上からは玄海島や志賀島、糸島半島を一望できます。
約400mの登山道で、残り100mは階段が整備されています。
Nothing complicated. We rode bicycles to the sign then it's a ten minute hke to the monument. Nice view!
Amazing view from the top!The hike was quite short and easy, suitable for beginner hikers!

Mongol Mountain: There are stories about Mongolian soldiers being buried in the mountain, and that the mountain's rock was used to build the Genko Borui fortifications.The top of the mountain offers a spectacular view of the sea.Be ready for climbing in the mountain for an approximately 400m and the stairs are available in the remaining 100m.
Great view
元寇の際には見張り台が置かれていた場所で、東側には玄海島や志賀島が見え、西側には糸島半島を見渡すことができます。1895年に建立された記念碑でしたが、2005年の福岡県西方沖地震で倒壊。2022年に復旧されました。モンゴルとの平和と友好のシンボルでもあるようで、モンゴル出身の元横綱の白鵬の手形もありました。
