Amazing accommodation during our Kumano Kodo trek. After 4k in the pouring rain from Takijiri to Tanabe, the host picked us up from the agreed location.We were happily surprised with the accommodation which even had a shoe dryer (very much needed!) and a massage chair.Besides the friendliness of the hosts, the food (dinner, breakfast and bento) really stood out and was definitely in our top 3 during our whole Japan trip!Would highly recommend this one! 🫶
The accomodation is nice, clean, generous and comfortable - but the best part is the food, we were genuinely amazed by it. The host’s hospitality is welcoming and friendly, but the prepared meal is incredible. We told them to open a restaurant. If for nothing else, stay for the food. 10/10
Hiroki picked us up from Takahara and drove send us to our stay. It was big, spacious and felt at home. Hiroki and his wife Naoko are very nice and accommodating and cooked delicious dinner and breakfast. Hiroki drove us back to Takahara the next morning to start our hike.they also prepare packed lunch for us for the hike.
去年も利用させてもらい、凄く気に入った為、和歌山に行ったらココに泊まると決めて今年も利用させてもらいました。オーナーさんには最高の鮎釣りポイントを教えてもらい釣りをさせてもらいました🎵今年は条件が悪かったので、来年宿泊時にまた鮎釣り楽しみにしてます🎵奥様からのサンドウィッチもお昼に美味しく夫婦でいただきました🎵帰り道では来年夏にまた利用させてもらう話で盛り上がり、今から楽しみです。ありがとうございました♪来年もよろしくお願いします😊
Beautiful place& beautiful people. The place is clean& tidy with all amenities included.Naoko& Hiroki were kind and welcoming. They also prepared amazing meals.The location would be a perfect stay for the night before Kumano Kodo walk.
This was the best food we had on the Kumano Kodo trail by far. Hiroki and Naoko looked after us really well and were very kind hosts. The accommodation was pristine and spacious. We also really enjoyed the sociable meals where we got to meet other guests. Highly recommended.
Thanks Hiroki and Naoko for looking after us while walking the Kumano Kodo trail.Hiroki picked us up for Takahara, and took us to his guesthouse. The house is traditional Japanese accommodation which is amazing. The beds were comfy and had everything we needed including fridge and kettle in our room.The meals were delicious, we felt spoilt staying here! The bento box lunch for the next days hike was perfect! And we met some other hikers here on the first night who we spent more time with along the Kumano Kodo.Thanks for your warm and generous hospitality Hiroki and Naoko, it was one of the highlights of our trip and hope to see you again!
中辺路１日目の宿として宿泊。宿は清潔\u0026快適で、食事がこんなに豪華なところは初めて。家の内装も目を見張る程。オーナー夫妻はとても親切です。洗濯機も借りれます。
とても親切なご夫婦とご家族のおもてなしに癒されました。食事が美味しく、お弁当は愛情たっぷり。

夢いっぱいの亭主の拘りいっぱいのお料理、笑顔が素敵な女将さんのホスピタリティー素晴らしかったです。やっぱり一番は歩いた後のサプライズの魚料理。お寿司も絶品でした。今度は家族みんなで来たいです！^_^
