彼らが私たちのために企画したガイド付き自転車ツアーを強くお勧めします！（原文）The highlight of our trip to Japan. We were met at the train station and taken to our lovely home right in the middle of the old town overlookind the river. Delicious breakfast was discreetly delivered to our doorstep every morning. The hosts were super friendly and knowledgeable. The guided bike tour they organized for us is highly recommended!
This was definitely the highlight of our trip. We were initially planning to stay at a ryokan but we couldn't find any with our requirements and that turned out to be a true bless in disguise.The experience of staying at a machiya (Japanese traditional town house) right in the center of downtown Takayama is a luxury not even Japanese people frequently have. But it all begins with the warm welcome of one the host who kindly awaits you at the station to take you to your accommodation.In sptite of being in the center of town, the peace and tranquility you feel is way beyond what you could possibly describe with mere words. You are right next to the main river with the most beautiful private valcony you could imagine where you can sit and relax easily all day long just listening to the mind cleansing sound of the water running downstream. It immediately washes away all the hecticness and tiredness carried over from the big cities. Nights are extremely peaceful and confortable with basically two types of beds: futon or western style, which is very appreciated by those who have trouble with their legs or just don't like sleeping in the floor. You wake up every morning with the breakfast served waiting for you at the door in bentos (lunch boxes) either Japanese or Western style depending on the day to help you kickstart your day adventures.Takayama is no doubt one of the, if not THE, most beautiful towns in Japan. Not only because of the pristine nature sourranding it or the nearby temples you can enjoy during the mornings but also because of the friendliness of its people. Although it might get over crowded on pick tourist seasons, this is easily avoided once you start strolling around a few blocks from the main streets after enjoying all the delicious snacks they have to offer during noon. You can spend all day long taking pictures to your heart's content since every single spot in the city seems to fills you with a neverending inspiration. However, sunset over the bridge is a must, with or without a camera. And finally you can unwind once again at night, perhaps at one of the many pubs frequently visited by the locals, or maybe one more stroll through the scenic streets around the river?o matter the moment of the day, there is no doubt you will find something that will make you fall in love with this place and dreaming of coming back again in the future, because if there is something I can say for sure, it's that one visit is not enough and the only thing I ever regreat is not having stayed more time.

旧市街の静かな通りにあるオリジナルの家です。
伝統的なスタイルの家として、設備は基本的ですが非常に適切です。
快適な布団を備えた寝室は最上階にあり、狭い急な階段でアクセスできました。
私たちの滞在中、気温は-2度に下がりましたが、メインルームは快適に暖められました。
メインのリビングエリアの外には、川を見下ろし、午後の日差しを浴びる小さなバルコニーがあります。
私たちにとって問題ではなかったテレビはありません。
朝食は作りたてで、毎日午前7時までに配達されました。
毎日、和風と洋風を交互に繰り返していました。
主要な観光スポットまで徒歩圏内、いくつかの良いレストランに近接しています。
私たちのホストは寛大で最も役に立ちました。

（原文）We stayed at Iori Miyagawa for 3 nights, March 2018. The house is an original home situated in a quiet street in the old district. As a traditional style home the facilities are basic but very adequate. Sleeping rooms furnished with comfortable futons were on the top floor accessed by narrow steep stairs which may be a consideration for the less mobile. Although during our stay temperatures dropped to -2 degrees the main rooms were comfortably heated. There is a small balcony off the main living area which overlooks the river and catches the afternoon sun. There is no TV which wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast was prepared fresh and delivered by 7am daily; it alternated daily between a Japanese style and Western style. Walking distance to major attractions, close proximity to some good restaurants. Our host was generous and most helpful; he picked us up at the station when we arrived and on our departure he dropped us back at station.

（原文）Two couples had a wonderful visit in 2019. Our hostess met us at the train station and dropped us at the house. She got us settled and oriented us to the city. The location is very central and there are lots of places to eat nearby. We were there for the spring festival and there was a festival float next door. The whole town is very walk-able. The apartment was very comfortable with a riverside view.

（原文）A very nice experience, the owner of the house is lovely, she offered to pick us up from a train station. The house is clean, a fully-equipped kitchen that can be cooked, has toiletries such as toothbrushes, razors, and even hair elastic. Have breakfast. There is a balcony on the river. Was perfect.
