Spectacular atmosphere, Toshi the owner is lovely and has a great taste for music. Best drinking brands. Good prices. You have to go there!
This is a wonderful place with an amazing bartender. This bar isn’t interested in your money but is deeply invested in your experience and enjoyment. It’s nothing like what you’d find in America or Europe—it’s a uniquely Japanese experience, complete with a delightfully eccentric (in the best way) bartender. Come here and revel in the joy!
Was wandering Osaka with a group of 5 looking for a place to get drinks. Stumbled across this cozy bar run by the nicest, most hospitable bar tender/owner you could find in all of Osaka. Came in at 8pm, ended up leaving at around 1am cause we had so much fun. He is very knowledgeable in whiskey and we ended up having a glass of all of his recommended whisky choices. No doubt he will take care of your party when you arrive. This ended up being our favorite night in Osaka. If you are looking for a place to drink for the evening, and even stay into the late night, this is the place for you.
We fancied a drink near our hostel and found Rain Dog bar on google maps. Don’t let the limited number of reviews prevent you from coming here, the bar is very cosy and cute and the owner, Toshima, is very sweet and will really take care of you. The bar is predominately whisky and Toshima really knows his stuff! We loved it so much, thanks Toshima☺️
