Honestly, I didn't want to leave this room; it is so beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful here. If given the chance, I would definitely come back to this house—I highly, highly recommend it.
Very beautiful location, scenic views from all bedrooms and extremely clean! Lovely stay, and very kind and responsive host who is very helpful.
Sayuri-san is a very friendly host. She picked us up from the station and drove us there after the stay too. Checked in frequently if we needed anything and gave great tips to get around.The rooms are traditional with tatami mats, very tidy and comfortable. Each room has its own AC unit, and the living room has a kotatsu for the colder months.You have the entire upper floor to yourself, with great view of Fuji-san from each room (if the weather let's you).The 1st floor with the washroom and kitchen is shared with the host's father, but thats no problem at all.A bit of a walk to the stations and restaurants, but still achievable.Overall very enjoyable stay, more than just a place to sleep.
Notre coup de cœur au Japon 🩷🇯🇵Après un enchaînement intense entre Séoul et Tokyo, nous avons décidé de nous ressourcer pendant deux jours dans la belle ville de Fujiyoshida.Nous avons choisi Asahi, une propriété familiale tenue par une adorable famille japonaise. Notre hôte, Sayuri, a su immédiatement nous mettre à l’aise et est même venue nous chercher à la gare.Nous avions oublié de faire traduire nos permis français, et elle nous a accompagnés du début à la fin pour trouver des solutions afin de visiter la région dans les meilleures conditions possibles. Elle nous a même accompagné à plusieurs reprise sur des sites touristiques en voiture. Elle a fait bien plus que le travail d’une simple maîtresse de maison.Le logement met des vélos à disposition, ce qui est un vrai plus pour découvrir la région en toute tranquillité.La région est magnifique, et la maison est nichée dans un coin paisible, avec une vue directe sur le Mont Fuji. Un Lawson ouvert 24h/24 se trouve à seulement deux minutes à pied, avec tout le nécessaire pour manger sur place.Si vous recherchez une expérience authentique chez une famille japonaise qui a toujours vécu ici, ce lieu est incontestablement le choix idéal.Merci pour tout Sayuri 🥰
是我住過最棒的地方!房東sayuri 小姐非常善解人意，當我們遇到問題時都很願意幫助我們，還提供接送服務，住在這邊讓我們感覺像在自己家一樣溫馨，sayuri小姐的父母也都非常的友善可愛😍每個房間都很乾淨漂亮，而且冬天來也有暖氣跟暖桌，最重要的是看得到富士山！一早起來能看到富士山真的是很幸運又幸福💗
Both I and my wife had an amazing time exploring Mt Fuji and this was only possible because of the great hospitality shown by Sayuri at Asahi Guest House.This place is short walking distance to Arukaramaya Sengen Park. You can hire a bike for free from this place to explore other sightseeing place.Sayuri was very kind to offer pickup and drop-off service from Fujisan station for free. She also dropped us off at Lake Kawaguchi for free. We were very happy with the the services that we received.On a clear sunny day, you can see Mt Fuji very clearly from the house as seen from our photo below.I definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to explore Mt Fuji area
とても楽しかったです。安いし、綺麗だし、バーベキューも 4人で12時までやってました。(周り家あるから大きい声出さないで) オーナーさんとは会えなかったけれども電話で話しただけで親切な方でした。また行きます。お祖父様ありがとうございました。

Sayuri runs an excellent rental place and provides a truly Japanese experience- unforgettable energy and welcome attitude as well as wonderful true Japanese facilities. We stayed here as a family of 5 and are looking for a way to come back. Stunning view and bikes available at our disposal for riding around. Great location too!
