Great onigiri. They have an interesting selection to choose from. Focus is on the food so restaurant is reasonably basic
抹茶の苦味がよかったコーヒーも私好みでよかったフワモコがテイクアウトできたらなぁ。

店員さんの応対が親切でした。おにぎりも高級感があって美味しかったです。
We chanced on this wanting a decent latte like we’d get back in NZ. It was local to our stay, and the service was really friendly and welcoming. Great variety of rice cakes that are far superior to those from a convenience store. Coffee delicious. Pouring with rain at the time, and we enjoyed lingering there a little longer. The attendant spoke good English (although I speak Japanese, this helps). Would love to come back. Doomo Arigatoo
I loved this little family run cafe! Everyone was so nice and friendly :D The menu has English and I was surprised that the cashier also spoke fluently.It was like a 15 minute walk from Kumamoto station. I lucked out though because they just opened so the onigiri were discounted but still so so delicious and fresh 🤤 I also had some fried chicken 😋Maybe come early because they had a line and were selling out when I got there. Talking to the cashier she said they’d have more items when they fully opened but I was only in town for the day 🥺 but I took a pic for next time.It was a wholesome and cute experience! I felt like I was truly hanging with locals. I want to go back if I’m ever in Kumamoto again :DThank you!!!! 🙏
