The lady boss is helpful,warm and friendly. She speaks little English. Although we were early by 10mins she let us in early to stay warm from the chilling weather. The grilled sesame chicken wing, mentaiko fish cake roll and Motsunabe are delicious!! Also the service of the lady boss impressed us bcos despite being the only chef plus server she checked on her customer periodically to make sure our drinks are topped up, cleared the used plates and offer more drinks and food.We had a wonderful time, thank you 😊😍.
Absolutely incredible food. The owner is so sweet and made us her personal recommendations which were all fantastic. If you want authentic Japanese home kushikatsu then this is where you should go. We chatted before and after the meal and it was such a wonderful experience.
We had a delightful dinner at this wonderful restaurant hosted by a wonderful lady. The food was exquisite and the owner put in a lot of effort to ensure we had a great time. A must go if one is in Shingu, as it is located just opposite the Hotel New Palace.
Huge thanks to the owner who took us in when we couldn’t find a place to eat. She even told us, super adorably, that we could stay and eat for as long as we wanted.She didn’t speak much English, but still warmly welcomed this group of clueless, non-Japanese-speaking tourists. She patiently used a translator to help us order and communicate.What amazed me was that she runs the entire restaurant by herself—she’s both the chef and the front of house. We thought we’d have to wait a long time, but the food came out surprisingly fast and right on time. Even when more customers arrived later, she handled everything with ease. So impressive!And the food? Absolutely delicious. The grilled fish was amazing! I don’t usually eat fish, but I actually finished it.The atmosphere inside was great too—perfect spot for a chill evening with drinks, good food, and conversation.If you ever visit Shingū, I highly recommend this izakaya!

Auswahl von kleinen Gerichten, japanische Hausmannskost (Huhn, Tempura, Yams etc.) zum sehr fairen Preis. Alles frisch zubereitet, extrem lecker, die Chefin sehr herzlich und bemüht. Freundliches Gespräch per Google Translater.

We came here by chance as other places we found on Google Maps were closed. The owner was so accomodating and helpful even though my Japanese is very limited. We used translate on the handwritten specials menu on the wall and the print menu and we ordered a great meal with our two kids. After a long day of travel the draft Asahi, lemon sours, steak, and maguro kama really hit the spot! The kids loved the chicken wings, fries, udon, and beef croquette. We didn't have enough room for the kushikatsu menu. The place itself is beautiful, warm, and clean.
