It’s a cozy, cute little gallery that’s located in the most convenient place in front of Inokashira park. The staff are delightful, the artists the boss lady brings in are all talented, and the fares are exceptionally reasonable. If you are looking for a place to show your work, or looking for a gallery to see what the local contemporary artists are doing, this is the spot for you. :)
素晴らしいセンス、キュレーション力のあるオーナーが、毎週素晴らしい画家を集めて展示されている画廊です。井の頭公園駅前 セブンイレブンの隣で、井の頭公園の入り口にあるともいえます！
This place is suuuuuperrrrr bueno! It's across the street from the station and the huge park-- you can walk here along the river from Kichijoji station, but not sure I would recommend it in summer because Tokyo = hot humid bleh.The opening show was all about collage and the gallery manager, Eri, is an artist herself! She and her sister Yui are really friendly + good at English, so I chatted with them a bunch about art and LIFE. Eri worked at a gallery in Harajuku, so she knows her art scene stuff.It's a pretty big single room gallery, so you could have workshops and group shows here no problemo. The displays change pretty often and there is air conditioning, yay, plus snacks on the table sometimes?? I took a cookie.Don't miss Inokashira pond and the Mitaka area when you visit. Especially the Ghibli museum!! Totoro is so close.But yeah, thanks to the staff for a fun visit to this new space and hope it lasts for a million years.
