I painted my journal book cover.I thought the canvas has no limits like my future.I could paint with a brush, a knife or even my fingers. There is no rule.I was able to paint as I felt. That’s why I was into it.Moreover, I superimposed the painting on my circumstances.I thought I would make my future what I want it to be.That experience was awesome for me.You should try it!!アートを自分で創るということは、中学生の美術の授業以来してこなかった。久しぶりに絵の具に触り、自由に筆を走らせたら、とても楽しくて時間を忘れて夢中になってた。ついつい写実的に見たままにうまく描こうとしてしまいがちだけど、水を多く含んだり抽象的な絵を描いたり、使う道具を変えてみたり表現の幅は広くて、自由だってことに気付かされた。ありのままを表現出来たらそこに、上手い下手以上の価値があるんだろうなって。この感覚は自分の人生と照らし合わせて考える機会にもなった。入谷の落ち着いた町の昼下がりに、心地よい音楽と共に制作をすることができたのは良い経験になった。創ったものを見るたびに、この経験を想起し自分の可能性を信じられそう。
10/10!! 100% would recommend to anyone who wants to learn about Japanese arts and crafts. It was a nice break from the busyness of the city. The workshop was done through English so it was easy to understand and follow along, the workshop teacher was also very kind and engaging making the workshop even more enjoyable!!Me and my friend had such a blast and we were able to make amazing memories!Thanks to MONO to Art Studio for having us!💕
友人と一緒にワークショップに参加しました✋アーティストさんが素敵な絵を描いてる横で、私達も同じ道具や材料を使って、オリジナルグッツをつくりました！胡粉や炭など、これまで自分ではアートに使ったことのない材料もあり、新しく楽しい経験になりました！思い出に、自分の作品も持って帰ることができて素敵な思い出です🥰ワークショップの担当の方がすごく明るく元気な方で、会話も弾み楽しい時間となりました♥️とてもおすすめな場所です！
Been doing a lovely paint workshop there from a friend recommendation, no worries if you have no artistic skills... I'm truly the worst and it ended up beautiful!

I attended the create-your-own workshop, led by Yasuyo and Misaki, two of the resident artists at mono to art studio. They had an incredibly warm banter constant guidance, making my own notebook cover was really fun and came out looking great. Other folks made a canvas coin case/passport/book cover, and came out looking even better than mineIt's a great way to try out a hobby and get involved with making things, using the same tools and everything that the pros do, without having a ton of up-front commitment. I'd love to go again!
