A decent local specialty and souvenir shop with a variety of Matsudai and Niigata local food products.We were very lucky to buy the Shinkomochi, a signature traditional sweet from Matsunoyama onsen area before it sold out around the end of lunch time. The mochi is made by the renowned non-glutinous rice powder, with a filling of mildly sweeten fine red bean paste. Under-snow red carrot juice is another specialty of Niigata, which is also avaliable here.Other souvenirs includes foods of pastry, sweets, fruits, fresh and dried vegetables, soybean products, sake wines, and some handicraft products.You can also buy some products of the cute virtual character of Usagi Matsudai here to support the beloved train line of Hokuhoku-sen.

周辺のオススメ
輪行🚲️で星峠の棚田を見に行った後で伺わさせてもらいました。品数は少なく無いかと思いますが、十日町やまつだい等のこの地域でのみ買えるお菓子類がもう少し種類が有れば尚更良かったと思います。
