The initial communication took a while, and booking site was not intuitive, however, once past that, the experiences with both our trips were amazing! Everything went just as planned, right on time, very accommodating, and our guide Tom (spoke 3 languages) was friendly and informative. I highly recommend using this company to improve your travel experience!
We had a wonderful time on the Tokyo Tsujiki Fish market tour. Our guide Jiro was very knowledgeable and knew all the spots for the best food. My husband is not a big fan of fish, but still managed to find things to try. Jiro also took us around some of the local temples, teaching us about the shinto-buddhist traditions which was fascinating.
As a 68 senior visiting Japan for the first time with my wife, I have to say that Tourist Japan was a great value and a great choice as well. I chose the private 14-day tour and I am glad I did as we received special on-on one private transportation in very comfortable, expertly driven vans with our knowledgeable tour guides. All the transfers were taken care since we landed and departed Japan. All tour guides were excellent at every city.The accommodations were excellent in 4-to-5-star hotels with impeccable service. We added a short 3 day trip to South Korea and the same well-chosen hotels and tour guides and transportation were excellent.There were free days so that we could explore on our own rate. The train tickets to different locations were available and instructions were rather easy to follow to get your Shinkansen tickets and other tickets. Although the instructions could be a little clearer to avoid the anxiety of taking a train in train stations like Kyoto Train Station that is a massive train station.Overall, I very good, solid, reliable and serious travel company that arranged a well-balanced tour for us first time tourist to Japan.
Great experience! This tour gives a quick exposure to Tokyo, very professional guide. However, be sure to leave yourself extra time to venture around because there are so many unique experiences in this amazing city.
We had the fantastic honour to get Shish as our guide for Japan. It was amazing our whole group loved ofc his expertise on Japan but most important his way life, always there to help, always with a joke and always with a bright spirit that lifted the mood everyday. Thank you Tourist Japan, especially for partnering us up with Shish, he made Japan very special for 39 happy danish people 😁

This was a very good and diverse tour of Toyko which took us to many different areas and gave us an opportunity to see firsthand the juxtaposition of old and new Japan. We learned a good deal about the history of the nation, with Jiro as our friendly, communicative guide, and we truly enjoyed being with him and Sumi who both shared information about themselves which helped to provide personal context for this very long tour. I would maybe suggest the tour could potentially be a little shorter to best accommodate the various age groups involved, though that might potentially limit the number of places we would be able to visit. All in all this was well worth it and gave us a very good view, both literally and figuratively, of Tokyo.
