尺八都山流流祖頌徳碑の特徴
日本を代表する尺八の流派、都山流の創始者の碑が鎮座しています。
中尾都山は独奏曲と合奏曲を開拓し、日本の音楽会に貢献しました。
岩清水八幡宮を崇敬した都山に因んで、碑は1962年に建立されました。

2018.02.19.(月) 神社は幾多参拝も 当碑には本日 目に触れ足が止まりました (奈良斑鳩人)石碑の説明板と調べからコチラの碑は 日本を代表する尺八の流派の創始者のモノです都山流(ﾄｻﾞﾝﾘｭｳ) 中尾都山(本名 中尾琳三)は1876年(M.9) 大阪府枚方市で生誕し虚無僧として修業の後に 都山が二十歳の1896年(M.29)に都山流を創始しましたそもそも江戸時代から 尺八演奏と言えば虚無僧で 演奏曲も宗教的なモノばかりソノ様な中 1903年(M.36)頃からは独奏曲が殆どだったトコロ 合奏曲本曲という新しい分野を開拓し 次々と作曲を重ね 大正時代には尺八の名手らと共に 全国巡業演奏を行い 都山は 日本の音楽会の普及に貢献したトノ事ですまた都山は 岩清水八幡宮を崇敬していた事も有り 1956年(S.31)没後の 七回忌の記念事業として1962年(S.37)に 同門有志により コノ場所に石碑が建立されたと有りソノ様な謂れが有りました！
