Amazing hole in the wall sushi spot! We came here based on prior reviews alone and it did not disappoint. It’s incredible to be able to watch the artistry and talent that goes into making great sushi. Google Maps sent us to the wrong spot first, but we made our way to the actual restaurant and were pleased to be seated quickly, served enthusiastically, and leave full! A bit pricier than other places, but so so affordable compared to eating sushi in the U.S.

Best sushi in Tokyo- and I tried a lot! stumbled on it walking down street. Ended up coming 2 days in a row after trying it first time. The owner Jack (American name) was the nicest, sweetest most amazing person ever. His father had been running it before him for over 40 years. It’s only him and one other sweet server Nova- they were so welcoming and sweet. Both spoke good English and were fun to talk with while enjoying the most amazing sushi. Jack makes it right in front of you and it comes out so eloquent and amazing. Go to this place, you will not be disappointed. Make sure you go at a good time. It’s a small place with limited seating, if you have to wait to eat, wait, it’s more than worth it.I go sad saying bye to them. I will come back to this place every single time I’m in Japan, even if I’m not staying in Tokyo, taking the train or taxi straight here.BEST SUSHI EVER!
This was an amazing place to eat.The staff was so friendly. I knew I was gonna give them five stars before.We even got our food because they offered to go across the street and buy soda for us! When I told them that my son's name was Jimbocho, after the section of town were in, they wrote out the Kanji for us and gave it to us as a gift. The sushi was AMAZING. It was so fresh and the rice was just the way I like it. It was a little bit pricey, but totally worth it for the flavor and service. It is off the main streets and a bit hard to find, but if you are un the area I can't recommend it enough!
Great place, very quiet, small and cozy. Seems like the chef has owned this place for decades. Very fresh and delicious fish (+ squids, shells, etc.). The plate on a photo for 3 persons costed us about 14000 yen (18000 with sake and plum wine - highly recommend!)
로컬 맛집입니다 분위기도 조용하니 혼자와도 좋을거 같네요~ 횟감도 두툼하고 정말 최고입니당 사장님도 친절합니당 재방문 의사 10000000%!!!!
