I stayed at Dash Living Kuramae for almost 50 days, and it was one of the best decisions I made for my stay in Tokyo. Rather than feeling like a hotel, it genuinely felt like living in my own apartment, which made it perfect for a short to mid-term stay. The location is excellent. Kuramae is a quiet, safe, and charming neighborhood while still being extremely well connected to the rest of Tokyo. I could easily reach Asakusa, Ueno, Akihabara, Ginza, Shinjuku, and other major areas within a short train ride. There are convenience stores, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, pharmacies, and everything you need for daily life just a few minutes away. The studio apartment was thoughtfully designed and felt very comfortable throughout my stay. Despite Tokyo’s reputation for compact living, I found the room to be adequately sized and well planned, with enough space to comfortably live and work every day.The kitchenette was perfect for preparing simple meals, which was a huge advantage during a longer stay. Having an independent washing machine inside the room was another feature I appreciated immensely—it made everyday life incredibly convenient. The apartment also came equipped with useful amenities like a vacuum cleaner, steam iron, hot water console, and everything needed to comfortably settle in without feeling like I was constantly living out of a suitcase. One feature that deserves special mention is the bathroom ventilation and drying system. I had never used one before, and it quickly became one of my favorite features of the apartment. It was extremely useful for drying clothes regardless of the weather and made excellent use of the bathroom space—something I really came to appreciate during my stay.I also appreciated how well the property introduced residents to Japan’s garbage disposal system. Waste separation can seem intimidating at first, but the instructions were clear and easy to follow, making it simple to adapt to local practices.Throughout my stay, the building was consistently clean, quiet, secure, and well maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful, and after long days exploring Tokyo, it was always nice to return to a place that truly felt like home.If you’re planning to stay in Tokyo for several weeks or even a few months, I highly recommend Dash Living Kuramae. It offers the experience of actually living in Tokyo rather than simply visiting it, and that’s what made my stay so memorable.I would happily choose to stay here again on my next visit.
