Very clean, stylish, and comfortable house for groups and families.There are plenty of beds, a spacious living room, and a kitchen, so we could relax just like at home.The owner, Shohei, is very kind and helpful. Since he is also a tour guide, he can recommend great local restaurants and sightseeing spots around Tokyo.Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy both Tokyo sightseeing and local Japanese culture!

First, I cannot say enough nice things about our host Shohei-san. He was by far the best host we have ever stayed with and clearly puts his heart and a lot of energy into making sure his guests have an exceptionally good experience. This is not a company-run house, he does everything himself including the cleaning! He communicated with us very clearly before, during, and at the end of our stay. He makes sure everything in the house is clearly documented in multiple languages, and even has nice extras for his guests like a fresh hot (100°C) and cold water dispenser. And as an example of Shohei’s commitment to his guests, when we ran into a problem with our baggage, he went out of his way come to the house to help us take care of it.Then about the house: it’s a brand new house and fully equipped with everything a whole family could need. Lots of big, comfortable beds (two rooms on the ground floor with 2 full (double) beds each, and 3 more doubles on the third floor. There is a new washer/dryer combo that does loads very quickly, and lots of drying room on two balconies - we were able to do all our laundry quickly and easily each day. There are two full showers with one being a super-modern wet room with a Japanese ofuro bathtub that auto-fills and has a television so you can watch TV while you take a bath! The kitchen is well-equipped with a nice gas stove, high-end digital microwave (as good as the ones at the Family Mart!) and a rice cooker and toaster oven. Finally there is a huge, comfortable couch and big screen TV where you can relax after your long day of sight-seeing and a dining room with enough space for family meals. We enjoyed Tokyo much more knowing the warm space of Glow Shin-Koiwa was waiting for us to come back to at the end of the day. It’s even in a quiet residential neighbourhood with no loud cars or traffic. We’ve travelled all over Japan many times (we have family in another region) so we’ve stayed in many places in Japan.Shohei-san, ありがとうございます！
