Our Perfect Home and Peaceful Oasis in Tokyo! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐LIO HOTEL Tokyo Nippori was truly one of the most exquisite and memorable highlights of our Tokyo journey. Positioned beautifully close to the Yamanote line, it offers effortless access to the city's vibrant energy, while nestled perfectly in the heart of Yanaka's charming, traditional, and serene atmosphere.Throughout our stay, we were deeply impressed by how thoughtfully every single detail was crafted. From the premium amenities provided to the smallest practical touches, absolutely nothing was missing—it truly felt like a fully equipped home. The cleverly designed, highly comfortable and ergonomic bathroom layout, paired with beds of immense, cloud-like comfort, allowed us to wake up completely rejuvenated every single morning. It is an impeccable, boutique hotel that flawlessly blends aesthetic appeal, functionality, and high-end comfort. For anyone seeking to catch the rhythm of Tokyo while enjoying a flawless, cozy sanctuary, we recommend this place with all our hearts!
Great long stay place. I stayed in Japan for about three weeks and this location was excellent. This spot is located right in between the Nishinippori and Nippori stations, which means that many places like Shinjuku, Shibuya, Akihabara and Ikebukuro are within 30-40 minutes, and everything else is not much further. As an added bonus, if you arrive from NRT the Keisei Skyliner goes directly from the Narita airport to Nippori station in under 40 minutes. The room itself is small but very clean. Smaller places like Yanaka Ginza are less than a 15 minute walk.Having both a kitchen and shower with a washer/dryer also means long stays are very convenient and bring fewer clothes.A few tips for folks planning on staying here:-As mentioned above, the room is quite small. If you are six foot (~183 cm) or taller, you may have a bit of difficulty as the ceiling is quite low in some places. There is also not a lot of room to store stuff other than a fairly small 2x4 closet.-If you go from NRT to here via the Keisei Skyliner and have a lot of luggage, I would strongly recommend you take the train from Nippori to Nishinippori. The walk from Nippori to the hotel is twice as long and the sidewalks are very small. Nishinippori is once stop away and is a much easier and shorter walk.-Washer/dryer combo machines are notoriously unreliable, particularly the drying component. The machine they had would still have the clothes fairly wet even after a 2-3 hour drying cycle, and struggled if youput more than 2 days worth of clothes into it. Luckly, this room does have a balcony with a bar for drying clothes so it's not a dealbreaker, but you should keep that in mind.-This is very much a solo person stay. The rooms are quite small and I would say even a couple would not find this super comfortable (but it would be doable).-The workers do not speak English, but will do there best to explain info. They were very kind and polite.-The bed was not very comfortable. It was very solid. My room had a soft couch so sometimes I would sleep on there.
